Why people seems to devote their on raising plants?

Since we are experiencing the pandemic, some people are preoccupied with this so-called "plantdemic".

I think this is one of coping the boredom that are impacted by the pandemic and I think it's good because it's like taking care of the environment by making it green.

Just some of the hobbies or interest that people have cultivated to help them cope with the pandemic. And since it trended, more and more people were influenced to try growing their own plants, thus paving the way for the so called plantdemic. Until it also become a business for some people.
