Got my 2nd shot of the Pfizer vaccine yesterday

I wonder if I'll  still be alive next year to find out if I need to get another set of them.

Allegedly the vaccine won't be fully 'active' for about another 2 weeks (or that is what I have understood) and even then you can still catch COVID but the symptoms won't be very bad.  Sure has turned our entire worlds upside-down hasn't it?

Yeah, it sure did. We are on lockdown again. And yes, that is what I've heard too. It takes at least 2 weeks for our bodies to produce the antibody in response to the vaccine. And chances are one can still catch COVID even after having the vaccine but symptoms would be mild and most likely will not be fatal. How long will the vaccine protect you?

They honestly don't know...right now it is good  up  to 6 months they said (they can only state as long as the trial subjects don't catch it and remain immune)
