It is getting popular here that people are planting small vegetables like lettuce on a plastic soda bottle instead of pots.

I have seen a few people planting vegetables in bottles like that , I wonder if it really grows or not .

The vegetables really grow and they can reach maturity as long as the soil can handle the roots. When the vegetable is very big then it may have a hard time in the bottle.

My family and I planted veggies using the empty instant noodle cups. We don't drink that much with Coca-Cola. In time, they will be ready to harvest.

We are encouraged to recycle. It's nice to find a use for these plastic bottles.

It has been practised by different schools all over the country in the Philippines before the outbreak of Coronavirus.

Yes. We are also planted some vegetables here in empty bottles or broken bucket. I have seen many doing like this.

I use plastic bags with success. Even bigger plants are planted in them. They are mostly seasonal as plastic will not last long to take perennials.
