Is it necessary to cover up child's weakness?

I have read that when the parents are avoiding picking up anything that their child messes up.The child will grow up believing that others must take responsibility for his responsibilities.

Are you doing this? If not, what should be done?

No. The parents should taught child about what is right and his responsibility. The child should know their weaknesses and strengths. The parents should help them to overcome the weaknesses.

Childs weakness and strength needs to be learned and worked on. More we focus on strength and making sure he is financially and mentally fit, that could lead to the things to be handled properly.

In my opinion the child must be explained about his setback and he must be suggested to have the possible solution! If needed a professional help may be taken in this regard so that the kid will grow up as a responsible adult!

I have seen this happening with today's parents. But hopefully when the child grows up they will on their own know what is right and what is wrong.

For us, there's always the rod so as not to spoil the child, so to speak. When the child committed a mistake especially something terrible then he has to face up the consequences of his wrong action.

I agree because it will make them believe that someone will make accountable on their behalf.
