So today I was creating one chicken recipe where I mixed tomato puree and the coconut milk. And that gravy turned out to be good. And it was kind of made me wonder which recipes where I should use and not to use.

Here , there are lots of local dishes made with coconut milk . I am not much of a cook so i cannot advice you on where should it be used or not

Here in India using coconut milk is tradition of south India, In North India we are not using it, coconut crop is not our local crop is it is expensive for us to use it in daily food

Coconut milk is versatile. It can be used to nake fish, meat and vegetable curries.  It can be used to make sweet dishes as well.  It is also used to make rice preparations such as apams.

My mother loves to use it when baking rice cake. There are other local dishes that need to have coconut milk. However, I am not fond of them.

In the states which are attached to Sea shore we have lot of coconut trees and Coconut milk is available in abundant there! The coconut milk is generally used in cooking of meat, chicken, fish , prawn, vegetables etc.

Apart from these dishes this is used in preparation of Elixirs, Soups, Smoothies, Iced Drinks, Ice cream, Non-Dairy cheese and also used in confectionery products!

There are many types of traditional sweets people make out of coconut!

Coconut milk is versatile. I use it in fish, meat, chicken, and vegetables. Even in traditional rice desserts and some baked goods too. Coconut milk makes everything extra creamy and flavorful.

I rarely use coconut milk in my recipes. I used to eat coconut milk with appam. It is very famous combo here.
