I learnt to swim in my forties but never got to beyond a child's pool.  The trainer did do his best to get me take long laps but for whatever reason I just could not.  I finally gave up. I had a choking experience and that could be the reason why I lost courage.

Are you a good swimmer?

I am a fairly good swimmer! But now a days since I have got no practice I doubt if I can maintain my stamina or not!

I learnt my swimming when I was a kid in my village along with other village boys!

For them learning swimming and swimming daily is part of their routine activities!

We used to play various games in the lake which involved swimming!

I used to enjoy swimming as I had a light body as a kid!

I  can swim all right but I cannot say I am a good swimmer. I learned swimming all by myself when I learned to observe my cousins on how they can float. That was the start and I learned other strokes.

I can swim but not a pro. I learned the basic swimming styles when I spent my summer vacation in the countryside. My cousin taught me.

I don't know how to swim. I never learned it. I could only wade in the pool or sit and watch others swim hehe

I cannot remember my first time learning to swim, but, then and now I am still not a good swimmer. I prefer to just get my feet wet or just stay in the shallow part and get myself wet and then go back to lay in the sun.
