I was watching one show on yutube where they recommended asafotida for consumption. As it contains the anti oxidant which makes the taste and the diet reasonable in the times when we have less movement. 

What do you think?

In India the Asafoetida is used in the cooking! People especially from the southern India include this as one of the essential spices in their dishes. They use this in the curries, Rasams and other dishes! Sambar and Tamarind rice are the two popular dishes in which Asafoetida is used! The famous festival of Tamilnadu Pongal when the dish Pongal dish is prepared it also contains Asafoetida as one of the spices!

We use this in dishes but not in every dish.  It is supposed to help eliminate gas that some foods are responsible for  such as dal.

Yes. Asafoetida is good for digestion. It is healthy when added small amount into recipes. Enjoy your day.

What is asafotida? I have no knowledge about this thing you mentioned that it contains antioxidants.

I am sorry. I am not familiar with this concern. Is it like a local dish in your country? It sounds it will be complicated to prepare.
