When I was a child, there are so many movies that show cars are flying in the sky. It has been predicted by some that public transport will be like this in the future. Do you think it would happen?

Yes, on paper it looks the flying Cars are the future vehicles in the World!

Though the first flying car was invented by Waldo Waterman in 1934 it couldn't gain the popularity as common man's vehicle though it can raise 9000 feet height and fly at the speed of 100 miles per hour for 400 miles without any problem.

However Terrafugia company is taking orders for making 2 Seater Cars that can be switchable to from road to air in less than one minute!

Pal V a dutch company is trying to test its first commercial personal air land vehicle and the company experts met the Prime Minister in the month of March 2020 in this regard.

One thing is noteworthy that the fuel efficiency of flying Car is very poor and it can burn holes in the owners pockets!

I did not know that someone had his first attempt to have a flying car.  I am sure only rich people can afford it.

Even the rich people have to shell out a lot of money to acquire a car and the fuel required to run this car will be very expensive! Another important thing is that we don't have infrastructures ready for these Cars in many countries!

I am sure that some countries will not be ready if it happens that they are available in the market.

Yes, they will be very expensive in all aspects and people may not like to have them at extra ordinary costs!

I cannot imagine a flying vehicle because of the big problem in air control. Just the airplanes now are giving the air traffic controller a big headache much more if private cars would be flying.

I am not sure if this flying car can do it with the same level in the heights of aircraft nowadays. If it is, then they really need to have some people do deal with to prevent traffic in the sky.

I think public transport, helicar, and probably two wheeler, will replace the present trend of car for everyone.

I assumed that it would happen if we reach the 5th Industrial Revolution. I know that it sounds futuristic but it could happen.

Well, if it's going to be the thing of the future , we have to accept it won't we ?

Indeed, we need to accept it. Have you seen one before? I am sure some of these flying cars are being manufactured but there is no update yet.

Yeah. It might be happen in coming years. The technology is so advanced now. So I hope there is lot of possibilities for this. In this pandemic situation aeroplanes are not even flying.

I agree. It would be better to ride on our own flying cars. However, it will surely be so expensive.

Some flying cars sounds like a good idea. But i still think it is not good for the air.

I agree. They can be a big contributor to produce air pollutants. By the way, it will be manufactured in China.

I'd love to have flying cars to avoid traffic except if traffic goes to the skies too! But I wonder if it will ever come to life or WHEN will it come to reality. If completely self-driving and autonomous vehicles aren't even existing in the public market yet how much more for flying vehicles?

That's a big concern to deal with. If these people put into reality, they have to answers all these concerns. I am sure it will be a lot of paper works to make it come true.

Shavkat, but we are already in the future and all of these movies made us believe in the opposite:D I think things will stay the same, at least for a few years.

I agree. I assumed that it is not ready for the current Fourth Industrial Revolution. Instead of squandering the money for flying cars, they need to come up with the vaccines to combat coronavirus first.
