Now at 60+ I am realizing the importance of good health after suffering from a heart attack last year.

I never paid much of attention towards my health and because of this I learnt my lessons taught by the nature!

Now today I take my restricted diet, have the regular exercise, visit the doctor regularly and have the medicines regularly!

Remember prevention is better than cure, so leave the vices if you have any to have a quality healthy life in future!

May I know what all you do to have a good health?

Good health is the wish of everyone especially the seniors. For me, I just stick to my moderate eating and daily exercise. It is important to do my routine because I think that is what makes me healthy.

I have kind of a disciplined life in that I have fixed hours for food intake and also I get enough sleep.  I believe in supplements and take them as per my doctor's advice.   The only thing where I lack is doing exercise.

I think you are also going for the morning walk early in the morning if I am not wrong! Otherwise I know you have a disciplined life and you take care of your health very nicely!

I take strolls in the garden and if a cat comes with me then I walk  at its pace.  In a way you are right. May strolls added up could be called exercise. :P

I am in my early 40s and I have always been careful with my diet, I don't drink sodas and I avoid processed food as well as sugary things. I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables and I try to exercise at least twice a week. Sometimes I don't have enough sleep and I need to improve my sleep.

Sleep is very good for good health! Most of the people to have health problems because of overeating and having lesser sleep. Since you have identified your problem hope you will try to rectify it soon! All the best!

I do excercise daily morning. I have a balanced diet. I eat fresh fruits and vegetables daily. I have a good sleep routine every day. I guess these are all enough to have a good health.

Sometimes we learn our lesson the hard way. So better be aware and adapt a healthy life style early on in life so we get to enjoy a healthy body when we grow old. I always remind myself to be gentle with myself and that is to never abuse and overdo my body. I think we should all learn to listen to our body. If you feel tired, rest. If you are thirsty, drink. When you are hungry, eat. When you feel the need to pee and use the toilet, Go. If you feel sleepy, then sleep. Those are the basics. Do not postpone those natural processes of the body in place of work and other things. Nothing is more important than one's health. These should be coupled of course with healthy life style; healthy food, exercise, enough sleep, avoid vices. Do things in moderation. More importantly learn to handle stress and life in general with a good and happy disposition. A sound mind makes for a sound and healthy physical body.

Very nicely explained about having the healthy life style! I learnt my lessons at very high cost and I am happy that at least today I am paying attention to myself in leading a better life where I am pampering myself to stay healthy! Regular healthy habits, staying away from stress and staying away from over exertion are the key factors to have good health!

I agree with you! But some times we tend to over do the things which we realize later on that those things were too much to bear for the body! I have a god lesson to learn because of this approach, which has reduced my efficiency by half today!

Since the lockdown, I started to change my eating habits. Now, I need to eat a well-balanced diet. I usually have meat with fruits and vegetables.

I try to avoid the foods that is prohibited to me but I have some violations sometimes. Exercising as well is not a regular habit.
