In the rainy season it is difficult to get fresh fish and our cats do not feel happy eating their dry feed.  We bought some chicken feet and cooked them. Although raw chicken feet are supposed to be good I found them struggling with them.

I am so happy I solved the cat feeding problem. I can now relax and have a peaceful day.  Pets need care and if situations such as these crop up it can give us sleepless nights.

It's not a problem. Anything which a cat may notice like eating, the cat will eat it.

Our cats and dogs eat vegetables.

Good that your cats eat it. My pet Cotton is very picky for his food.

That is nice to know that your Cats are liking the Chicken feet! I used to feed my dogs these feet along with the chicken which they used to relish a lot! In fact Chicken feet soup is very tasty and it is a wonderful beverage in the severe Winters we have here! Yes, I also feel bad if I am unable to provide comforts to my pets!

I have tried making chicken feet soup for our own consumption and it tastes great.  It is also good for our bones.

It is true. If my memory serves me right, I remember I read somewhere that chicken feet is rich in Collagen. I cook spicy chicken feet.

Yes, indeed!  If we keep the Soup in the fridge, it will turn like jelly which is just a character stick of Collagen !

We never feed our dogs raw meat or fish. The food should be cooked very well. Raw meat or even half cooked meat can have germs that can cause disease.

It is different with cats. We never fed our dogs with anything fresh.  But cats love their raw fish.  Internet says raw chicken feet are good for cats but I saw them struggling with them this morning and so we cooked them which they relished.

I haven't tried giving chicken feet to my cats. I give them boiled chicken with liver. I mix that with squash or carrot or both. I make my cat's food. Boiled fish+squash+carrots, Boiled beef+squash+carrots. Sometimes I put legumes too or use potatoes if I don't have squash. I alternate this homemade recipes with their dry kibbles. At times I buy them those wet food in cans or pouches. I do not feed them raw foods. Once in a while I give them hard boiled eggs as treat, they like it.

I want to be your cat in my next life.:D

Liver and chicken!!! Wow!!! That is a great meal you have for your pets murat and it needs time to prepare it.  We too love our pets but happy that they are ok with raw fish that they simply relish.  We give them rice and eggs mixed together and diluted milk  When there is no fish we give them dry feed.

Now that we know they like cooked chicken feet we are very happy.

hehehe

:D

You know I only learned those things in the cat groups i've been following. I actually enjoy making their food. After I boil it I cut it to small pieces and mix them all together really well. If I want to make it quick, I use the blender. Then it'll be like baby food in consitency hehe. Then I put it in containers to freeze. At most it will last them 5 days to finish it all then I make another one again.

I think cats will love chicken feet. My lost cat loves munching them. It is a big no for my dogs because it might perforate their stomachs.

We fed our dogs with chicken feet but pressure cooked. Nothing happened.  I tried giving the cats raw but they were struggling with them
