Is it good to be anonymous?

Does anonymity encourage people to misbehave and be reckless of their actions since it cannot be attributed to them? Since their identity is anonymous they can do things without having to take responsibility. Would it reveal how people would choose to act all the time if they could? But then, can one really be anonymous on the net?

There are several reasons why a person should have to hide his personal identify. In working online it's not necessarily to divulge yourself. You may adopt anonymous username.

Yes, most of us are unknown and one can attack as if they really want to.

You can see in my profile that I am not anonymous. I want to be honest as much as I can even in online forums.

I think some people like to be anonymous. Many will be feeling comfortable. Some people may not like to share their information publicly
