I was thinking of some evil people in history that had a family. If the children did not know that the parent was evil would they want to know the truth or not? I have no idea. If I had a relative that was evil I am not sure I would want to know. I would like to know what they did to become evil.  Would you want to know if you had a relative that was evil?

sometimes it is better not to dig the past and let history be history.. that is the right way to go ahead to avoid the evil.

I am not sure if I would want to know if I had a very very evil person in my family or not.

One can know it if you have witnessed his wrongdoings or one can testify his being evil without being bias. That maybe difficult to accept but the reality really bites as it says.

Not necessarily true. There are those that hide their past very well and fool many so unless you find out by accident or someone tells you you may never know how evil they are.

There is a member of the family that I know why he is a scheming devil. It is natural for that person to be evil.

I hope all stay away from that person. That is horrible that there is someone in your family that is evil.

I really hate that person if there's one in our family. But I realize that he lacks love and attention.

People like that have no conscience so do not care if they hurt someone or not. They do not feel anything.

Some things are better left the way they are. I don't want to go digging up something that could eventually change my orientation or the course of my life.

You have a good point in not wanting to want to dig up the past and find out if you have dirty laundry in your family.
