Do you clear up your email? What is the frequency which you will clear your email?

Given that Gmail literally have a very large space, it meant that I could literally go on and on without the need to clear up my email addresses. But after 20 years of continue using without clearing it up, my space limit had 20% remaining. Hence I ended up spending my weekends starting from last Friday to clean up the email address and I had deleted around 100K of email.

I had not cleaned up for twenty years because I assumed that I will have tons of spaces and do not need to do that cleaning.

I rarely delete my email so I have mostly 100000 email in my inbox beside the thousand of spam email I have on my spam folder.

I'm quite lazy when it comes to mails and junks. I must have done that like once or twice in my life. I have hundreds of unread messages.

How did you keep that unread into just hundreds>

They were from sites I was no longer interested in but I still had my account. Others were spam.

I clean the unworthy email daily as I don't want to stock it up and missing the required mail-in that process.

One of the first things I do on the  computer is check my e-mails and answer them or delete something I do not need.

I usually do not always go through my e-mails because so many and clean them up. Sometimes when I am looking for something I will check something out and if do not need it will delete it.

I keep very few emails, most of mine get deleted as soon as I have read them.

Every month I clean my emails but I categorize those important emails and the rest I throw them to the bin.
